James Mulhall has spent the past 20 years learning and growing as a leader in industry. Leveraging his personal, military, academic & industry experience supported by many Lessons Learned, he reaches out to all levels of the academic community in Central Texas to “pay it forward.” He is a highly decorated disabled veteran from past overseas conflicts and more recently has spent the last 14 years working for Tokyo Electron American in varying roles from engineering management to Technical Support, Applications, Equipment, R&D and Installation support. His current job role is leader of TEL US Installation Group responsible for systems installation & planning at all semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

He is a member of the Austin Community College Technology Advisory Committee, Texas State University Ingram School of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board working with industry partners to facilitate technology alignment with academic requirements. He is also an industry volunteer on the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Council of Education focused on supporting initiatives related to enhancing capacity of K-12 education systems to graduate academically prepared students, ensure greater numbers and a broader spectrum of students graduate from post-secondary or higher education institutions; ensure effective workforce training programs exist to train or retrain residents for continually evolving employment sector.

He has been recognized as an educational/industry partner and looks for all opportunities to support students who want more from themselves, their careers and are willing to step up to a stretch goals. He is a previous member of Alpha Chi & Golden Key International Honor societies and an active supporter of the SPARK program at Texas State University. Supplementing his experience has been extensive global travel that has helped support his drive to motivate all students to a higher personal calling in life & academics.

James has a Master’s degree in Technology, Bachelor’s degree in Technology from Texas State University, Associates degree in Science from Austin Community College and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ.

His passions include family (Vesna, Neven, Anja), academics, leadership, economics, traveling, flying, old VW Bugs, exercise, great food & having a real good time whenever humanly possible!
