The Industrial Engineering HPC cluster is available by remote access and is intended for use by research assistants and faculty engaged in Operations Research and Computational Science projects.
The system is a Linux "ROCKS" cluster intended for high-performance computing. The ROCKS distribution was developed at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with financial support from a grant by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Software available on the HPC cluster includes:
- AMPL professional 10.0
- CPLEX professional 10.0 and its callable library (callable from C, C++)
- Matlab (most toolboxes, including the compiler, the parallel computing toolbox and the distributed engine)
