On April 16th, 2011 The Texas State University-San Marcos IEEE Student Branch accepted the Outstanding Small Student Branch Award for 2010 at the Region 5 Banquet in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Congratulation and thanks to Dr. Larry Larson, Ed Gonzalaz (chapter president) and the other IEEE officers on this outstanding achievement!
