Texas State has been granted a charter by Engineers Without Borders USA to form a Student Chapter. EWB helps create a more stable and prosperous world by addressing people's basic human needs by providing necessities such as clean water, power, sanitation and education. Because of its strong university presence, EWB-USA is the catalyst for a new movement to educate the next generation of socially conscious engineers deeply aware of the needs of the rest of the world.
