As a team of future Civil Engineers, we are tasked by Kimley-Horn with addressing the increasing population growth in Hays County, particularly along the I-35 corridor in San Marcos. With a yearly average population growth of 4.5% and a rising demand for workforce employment projects, the team is focused on evaluating a 25-acre site and developing a site plan for an industrial warehousing development project. The objective is to recommend a design for a multi-building complex with a minimum gross floor area of 300,000 square feet to meet the needs of businesses seeking space in the area.
