The hot stake redesign project consists of troubleshooting and resolving the issues causing premature failure of hot stakes. Hot staking is utilized at key steps in the production cycle of Continental products and cost both money and time replacing. Students will identify root causes, implement solutions and analyze results to increase the useful life of the hot stakes.
