Mission

To provide students with an exceptional undergraduate education in various disciplines of engineering (currently Industrial, Manufacturing, and Electrical),
To serve the State of Texas (and the nation) by helping to create a highly skilled, diverse, and motivated workforce capable of technological innovation and dedicated to the betterment of society,
To improve the financial trajectories of less-privileged families by helping their daughters and sons become first-generation college graduates with professional degrees,
To prepare interested students for graduate studies and research at Texas State University or at other universities, and
To establish Texas State University as an engineering research presence within Texas, the nation, and the world.
